As Colorado’s home care landscape evolves, the line between non-medical and clinical care is becoming increasingly blurred. This session explores how agencies can successfully integrate nursing oversight into traditional non-medical home care models to improve outcomes, compliance, and continuity of care. Drawing from real-world experience transitioning from a Class B to Class A license, participants will learn how to structure nurse-directed programs for medication management, wound care, and oxygen therapy while maintaining a person-centered, relationship-based approach.
